In New Jersey 4-years colleges and universites, 4,831 students are 18 years old or younger(1.02%), 54,292 students are 18 or 19 years old (11.44%), 61,659 students are between 20 and 22 years old (12.99%), 49,229 students are between 22 and 24 years old (10.38%), 30,882 students are between 25 and 29 years old (6.51%), 21,662 students are between 30 and 39 years old (4.57%), 9,221 students are between 40 and 49 years old (1.94%), 5,366 students are 50 years old or older (1.13%)
In New Jersey community colleges, there are 42,669 students are younger than 20 years old (18.68%), 38,507 students are between 20 and 24 years old (16.86%), 12,116 students are between 25 and 29 years old (5.30%), and 20,722 students are 30 years old or older (9.07%).
