Tightest Colleges To Get In

The average acceptance rate over 4-years colleges is higher than last year, but high ranked colleges still have low acceptance rate. In particular, the acceptance rate at prestigious colleges such as best colleges including Stanford, Harvard, and MIT is lower than last year.
For 2023 admission, the acceptance rate of 27 colleges is lower than 50%. It means that the chance of acceptance is very low at the colleges. There are two reasons for the low acceptance rate at those schools. Firstly, more applicants applied to these colleges than in previous years, and secondly, these colleges want to maintain a low acceptance rate for the quality of education and high rankings.

California Institute of Technology stay at first place of the lowest acceptance rate ranking since last year. Harvard University ranked 2nd, up 1 place from 3rd last year.
