Student Age Distribution at Connecticut Colleges

A total of 196,572 students are enrolled in Connecticut colleges including 4-year colleges, community colleges, and trade schools.

In Connecticut colleges and universites, 8,328 students are 18 years old or younger(4.24%), 51,043 students are 18 or 19 years old (25.97%), 44,863 students are between 20 and 22 years old (22.82%), 30,528 students are between 22 and 24 years old (15.53%), and 23,736 students are between 25 and 29 years old (12.07%).

21,324 students are between 30 and 39 years old (10.85%), 10,389 students are between 40 and 49 years old (5.29%), 6,319 students are 50 years old or older (3.21%).
