Student Population Changes

The average student population over the last 11 years is 2,298 where 2,114 students are attending the school for the academic year 2024-2025.

82.40% of total students is undergraduate students and 17.60% students is graduate students. The number of undergraduate students has decreased by 589 and the graduate enrollment has increased by 208 over past 10 years.

Enrollment by Race/Ethnicity Changes

The percentage of white students is 74.03%. The percentage was 67.09% 10 years ago and UE still has a high percentage of white students. 3.17% of enrolled students is Asian and 4.26% is black students. Hispanic students comprise 6.01% of the student body.

Over the past 10 years, the racial composition has shifted. The percentage of white students increased from 67.09% to 74.03%. Asian enrollment grew from 1.44% to 3.17%. Black student enrollment increased from 2.24% to 4.26%. Hispanic student representation expanded from 1.28% to 6.01%.

The overall racial diversity, measured by the Census Bureau Diversity Index, is 0.4438 which indicates that somewhat diverse. This decreased from 0.5487 a decade ago, suggesting that racial diversity has declined.
