Student Population Changes
The average student population over the last 11 years is 404 where 367 students are attending the school for the academic year 2024-2025.
Total enrollment fluctuated between 2016 and 2025, with 6 year-over-year increases and 3 decreases. It peaked at 514 students in 2024 and was lowest at 316 in 2017. Overall, enrollment rose from 334 to 367 students, a net gain of 33 (9.9%).

Enrollment by Race/Ethnicity Changes
The percentage of white students is 28.88% and the percentage of black students is 51.50% at Tidewater Tech-Trades. 1.91% of enrolled students is Asian. Hispanic students comprise 7.08% of the student body.
Over the past 10 years, the racial composition has shifted. The percentage of white students increased from 26.95% to 28.88%. Asian enrollment grew from 0.30% to 1.91%. Black student enrollment decreased from 58.38% to 51.50%. Hispanic student representation contracted from 7.19% to 7.08%.
