Student Population Changes

The average student population over the last 11 years is 1,593 where 1,467 students are attending the school for the academic year 2024-2025.

80.98% of total students is undergraduate students and 19.02% students is graduate students. The number of undergraduate students has decreased by 327 and the graduate enrollment has increased by 94 over past 10 years.

The female to male ratio is 8.00 to 1 and it means that there are far more female students enrolled in LIM than male students.

Enrollment by Race/Ethnicity Changes

The percentage of white students is 34.36% and the percentage of black students is 25.29% at LIM College. 7.70% of enrolled students is Asian. Hispanic students comprise 18.20% of the student body.

Over the past 10 years, the racial composition has shifted. The percentage of white students decreased from 52.06% to 34.36%. Asian enrollment grew from 5.82% to 7.70%. Black student enrollment increased from 15.06% to 25.29%. Hispanic student representation expanded from 12.24% to 18.20%.

The overall racial diversity, measured by the Census Bureau Diversity Index, is 0.7789 which indicates that quite diverse. This increased from 0.6877 a decade ago, suggesting that racial diversity has improved.
