Student Population Changes

The average student population over the last 11 years is 157 where 162 students are attending the school for the academic year 2024-2025.

Total enrollment fluctuated between 2016 and 2025, with 3 year-over-year increases and 5 decreases. It peaked at 191 students in 2024 and was lowest at 96 in 2023. Overall, enrollment dropped from 189 to 162 students, a net loss of 27 (14.3%).

Enrollment by Race/Ethnicity Changes

The percentage of white students is 9.26% and the percentage of black students is 4.32% at CET-Colton. 3.09% of enrolled students is Asian. Hispanic students comprise 82.72% of the student body.

Over the past 10 years, the racial composition has shifted. The percentage of white students decreased from 23.28% to 9.26%. Asian enrollment grew from 1.59% to 3.09%. Black student enrollment decreased from 13.76% to 4.32%. Hispanic student representation expanded from 56.08% to 82.72%.

The overall racial diversity, measured by the Census Bureau Diversity Index, is 0.3044 which indicates that somewhat diverse. This decreased from 0.6115 a decade ago, suggesting that racial diversity has declined.
