A total of 278,453 students are enrolled in Missouri colleges including 4-year colleges, community colleges, and trade schools.

In Missouri colleges and universites, 40,428 students are 18 years old or younger(14.52%), 64,399 students are 18 or 19 years old (23.13%), 53,705 students are between 20 and 22 years old (19.29%), 44,035 students are between 22 and 24 years old (15.81%), and 30,568 students are between 25 and 29 years old (10.98%).

26,835 students are between 30 and 39 years old (9.64%), 12,541 students are between 40 and 49 years old (4.50%), 5,594 students are 50 years old or older (2.01%).

In Missouri trade schools, there are 213 students are younger than 20 years old (30.13%), 276 students are between 20 and 24 years old (39.04%), 115 students are between 25 and 29 years old (16.27%), and 101 students are 30 years old or older (14.29%).
