For the calendar year 2023, 1,460 VAWA occured at New York colleges. The VAWA rate per 1,000 students is 0.65 at New York college campues. By violation type, there were 246 domestic violences, 601 dating violences, and 613 stalking VAWA cases.

Of the 1,279 total on-campus VAWA at New York colleges,

10.56% were domestic violences, and the on-campus domestaic violence rate per 1,000 students is 0.06.
44.72% were dating violences, and the on-campus dating violence rate per 1,000 students is 0.25.
44.72% were stalking related, and the on-campus stalking rate per 1,000 students is 0.25.

For all VAWA cases, there were 1,279 on-campus, 52 non-campus, 129 public property, and 773 residence hall VAWA occured last year. (The number for on-campus VAWA includes residence hall VAWA).
