For the academic year 2019-20, the acceptance rate is 73.61% and the yield is 35.24%. 9,491 men and 12,233 women applied to UNT and 6,809 men and 9,183 women students were accepted. For the academic year 2019-2020, 3,852 students (68% of enrolled) have submitted their SAT scores and 1,715 students (30%) have submitted their ACT scores for seeking degrees. For score submitters, SAT 75th percentile score of Evidence-Based Reading/Writing is 630 and the 25th percentile is 540. The SAT Math score is 620 (75th) and 520 (25th). The submitted ACT composite score is 27 (75th percentile) and 21 (25th percentile).
