For the academic year 2022-23, FIT's acceptance rate is 52.80% and the yield (also known as enrollment rate) is 54.48%. 718 men and 3,951 women applied to FIT and 379 men and 2,086 women students were accepted.

It requires to submit High School GPA, High School Record (or Transcript), Formal Demonstration of Competencies, English Proficiency Test, and Personal statement or essay to its applicants.
The SAT and ACT test score is not considered in admission process at FIT. The english proficiency test is reqired .
