Enrollment by Race/Ethnicity Changes

The percentage of white students is 26.77% and the percentage of black students is 8.82% at University of Illinois Chicago. 18.39% of enrolled students is Asian. Hispanic students comprise 28.61% of the student body.

Over the past 10 years, the racial composition has shifted. The percentage of white students decreased from 37.74% to 26.77%. Asian enrollment grew from 18.35% to 18.39%. Black student enrollment increased from 7.86% to 8.82%. Hispanic student representation expanded from 20.78% to 28.61%.
