Total enrollment fluctuated between 2016 and 2025, with 7 year-over-year increases and 2 decreases. It peaked at 71,881 students in 2021 and was lowest at 62,953 in 2016. Overall, enrollment rose from 62,953 to 69,713 students, a net gain of 6,760 (10.7%).

Enrollment by Race/Ethnicity Changes

The percentage of white students is 42.55% and the percentage of black students is 8.83% at University of Central Florida. 7.65% of enrolled students is Asian. Hispanic students comprise 30.22% of the student body.

Over the past 10 years, the racial composition has shifted. The percentage of white students decreased from 52.79% to 42.55%. Asian enrollment grew from 5.81% to 7.65%. Black student enrollment decreased from 10.90% to 8.83%. Hispanic student representation expanded from 22.50% to 30.22%.
