Total enrollment fluctuated between 2016 and 2025, with 6 year-over-year increases and 3 decreases. It peaked at 6,181 students in 2020 and was lowest at 5,582 in 2021. Overall, enrollment dropped from 6,128 to 5,890 students, a net loss of 238 (3.9%).

Enrollment by Race/Ethnicity Changes

The percentage of white students is 72.92%. The percentage was 80.89% 10 years ago and TCTC still has a high percentage of white students. 1.43% of enrolled students is Asian and 10.49% is black students. Hispanic students comprise 9.22% of the student body.

Over the past 10 years, the racial composition has shifted. The percentage of white students decreased from 80.89% to 72.92%. Asian enrollment grew from 1.26% to 1.43%. Black student enrollment increased from 9.76% to 10.49%. Hispanic student representation expanded from 4.41% to 9.22%.
