The average student population over the last 11 years is 94 where 75 students are attending the school for the academic year 2024-2025.
Total enrollment fluctuated between 2016 and 2025, with 6 year-over-year increases and 3 decreases. It peaked at 130 students in 2017 and was lowest at 70 in 2022. Overall, enrollment dropped from 105 to 75 students, a net loss of 30 (28.6%).

Enrollment by Race/Ethnicity Changes
The percentage of white students is 74.67%. The percentage was 80.95% 10 years ago and Southeast Texas Career Institute still has a high percentage of white students. Hispanic students comprise 5.33% of the student body.
Over the past 10 years, the racial composition has shifted. The percentage of white students decreased from 80.95% to 74.67%. Black student enrollment increased from 5.71% to 18.67%. Hispanic student representation contracted from 9.52% to 5.33%.

Distance Learning (Online Courses) Enrollment Changes
Southeast Texas Career Institute does not offer online degree/certificate programs. All Students have enrolled in on-campus programs.
