The average student population over the last 11 years is 269 where 306 students are attending the school for the academic year 2024-2025.
Total enrollment fluctuated between 2016 and 2025, with 6 year-over-year increases and 3 decreases. It peaked at 356 students in 2017 and was lowest at 221 in 2019. Overall, enrollment dropped from 315 to 306 students, a net loss of 9 (2.9%).

Enrollment by Race/Ethnicity Changes
The percentage of white students is 26.14% and the percentage of black students is 4.25% at South Coast College. 7.84% of enrolled students is Asian. Hispanic students comprise 50.98% of the student body.
Over the past 10 years, the racial composition has shifted. The percentage of white students decreased from 35.24% to 26.14%. Asian enrollment declined from 7.94% to 7.84%. Black student enrollment increased from 3.17% to 4.25%. Hispanic student representation expanded from 36.83% to 50.98%.
