Enrollment by Race/Ethnicity Changes

The percentage of white students is 54.40%. The percentage was 57.56% 10 years ago and Sierra still has a high percentage of white students. 8.98% of enrolled students is Asian and 3.11% is black students. Hispanic students comprise 22.76% of the student body.

Over the past 10 years, the racial composition has shifted. The percentage of white students decreased from 57.56% to 54.40%. Asian enrollment grew from 4.90% to 8.98%. Black student enrollment increased from 2.78% to 3.11%. Hispanic student representation contracted from 26.90% to 22.76%.
