The average student population over the last 11 years is 5,930 where 5,396 students are attending the school for the academic year 2024-2025.

Total enrollment fluctuated between 2016 and 2025, with 4 year-over-year increases and 5 decreases. It peaked at 6,928 students in 2018 and was lowest at 4,476 in 2023. Overall, enrollment dropped from 6,574 to 5,396 students, a net loss of 1,178 (17.9%).

Enrollment by Race/Ethnicity Changes

The percentage of white students is 21.48% and the percentage of black students is 13.19% at Seattle Central College. 16.05% of enrolled students is Asian. Hispanic students comprise 13.44% of the student body.

Over the past 10 years, the racial composition has shifted. The percentage of white students decreased from 33.57% to 21.48%. Asian enrollment grew from 10.88% to 16.05%. Black student enrollment increased from 9.01% to 13.19%. Hispanic student representation expanded from 6.39% to 13.44%.
