The average student population over the last 8 years is 497 where 590 students are attending the school for the academic year 2024-2025.
Total enrollment fluctuated between 2019 and 2025, with 3 year-over-year increases and 3 decreases. It peaked at 750 students in 2023 and was lowest at 313 in 2020. Overall, enrollment rose from 317 to 590 students, a net gain of 273 (86.1%).

Enrollment by Race/Ethnicity Changes
The percentage of white students is 37.80% and the percentage of black students is 44.24% at Polytech Adult Education. 0.34% of enrolled students is Asian. Hispanic students comprise 16.78% of the student body.
Over the past 10 years, the racial composition has shifted. The percentage of white students decreased from 69.40% to 37.80%. Asian enrollment declined from 1.26% to 0.34%. Black student enrollment increased from 21.14% to 44.24%. Hispanic student representation expanded from 7.89% to 16.78%.
