Student Population Changes

The average student population over the last 11 years is 1,468 where 1,403 students are attending the school for the academic year 2024-2025.

Total enrollment fluctuated between 2016 and 2025, with 5 year-over-year increases and 4 decreases. It peaked at 1,706 students in 2023 and was lowest at 1,242 in 2024. Overall, enrollment rose from 1,400 to 1,403 students, a net gain of 3 (0.2%).

Enrollment by Race/Ethnicity Changes

The percentage of white students is 50.04%. The percentage was 45.79% 10 years ago and MNTC still has a high percentage of white students. 4.92% of enrolled students is Asian and 5.77% is black students. Hispanic students comprise 19.46% of the student body.

Over the past 10 years, the racial composition has shifted. The percentage of white students increased from 45.79% to 50.04%. Asian enrollment grew from 2.36% to 4.92%. Black student enrollment increased from 4.14% to 5.77%. Hispanic student representation expanded from 4.14% to 19.46%.

The overall racial diversity, measured by the Census Bureau Diversity Index, is 0.6879 which indicates that moderately diverse. This decreased from 0.7615 a decade ago, suggesting that racial diversity has declined.
