The average student population over the last 11 years is 199 where 266 students are attending the school for the academic year 2024-2025.
Total enrollment fluctuated between 2016 and 2025, with 5 year-over-year increases and 4 decreases. It peaked at 273 students in 2024 and was lowest at 131 in 2017. Overall, enrollment rose from 152 to 266 students, a net gain of 114 (75%).

Enrollment by Race/Ethnicity Changes
The percentage of white students is 42.11% and the percentage of black students is 46.62% at L'esprit Academy. 1.88% of enrolled students is Asian. Hispanic students comprise 2.63% of the student body.
Over the past 10 years, the racial composition has shifted. The percentage of white students decreased from 63.82% to 42.11%. Asian enrollment grew from 1.32% to 1.88%. Black student enrollment increased from 26.32% to 46.62%. Hispanic student representation contracted from 3.29% to 2.63%.
