Student Population Changes

The average student population over the last 11 years is 2,157 where 1,865 students are attending the school for the academic year 2024-2025.

Total enrollment fluctuated between 2016 and 2025, with 4 year-over-year increases and 5 decreases. It peaked at 2,634 students in 2017 and was lowest at 1,738 in 2022. Overall, enrollment dropped from 2,551 to 1,865 students, a net loss of 686 (26.9%).

Enrollment by Race/Ethnicity Changes

The percentage of white students is 51.69%. The percentage was 62.37% 10 years ago and FM still has a high percentage of white students. 1.02% of enrolled students is Asian and 3.75% is black students. Hispanic students comprise 7.88% of the student body.

Over the past 10 years, the racial composition has shifted. The percentage of white students decreased from 62.37% to 51.69%. Asian enrollment declined from 1.10% to 1.02%. Black student enrollment decreased from 6.55% to 3.75%. Hispanic student representation contracted from 12.27% to 7.88%.

The overall racial diversity, measured by the Census Bureau Diversity Index, is 0.7247 which indicates that quite diverse. This increased from 0.5907 a decade ago, suggesting that racial diversity has improved.
