Enrollment by Race/Ethnicity Changes

The percentage of white students is 54.94%. The percentage was 58.36% 10 years ago and Excelsior still has a high percentage of white students. 3.09% of enrolled students is Asian and 21.34% is black students. Hispanic students comprise 14.30% of the student body.

Over the past 10 years, the racial composition has shifted. The percentage of white students decreased from 58.36% to 54.94%. Asian enrollment grew from 3.01% to 3.09%. Black student enrollment decreased from 21.87% to 21.34%. Hispanic student representation expanded from 9.72% to 14.30%.
