I entered the school and conquered

the counselors can show some pity to those adult students. Lifes more difficult as an adult student when you yourself have to come up with the money to pay for things. Other younger students have the parents help making it simple. As an adult student it didnt feel like i was treated as if they knew i was over 21 and trying to start all over. As a teen coming from something like high school in the area. i was forced to quit. feeling harrassed and told while other student were around that female teachers did not take care of a grown ass man. They forget you have no relations to the employees or seek it at all. Growing up in that city school never felt as if it was a place that help those who seek it find it. I asked questions. Felt judged without being able to show who i was in the begining. the students seemed as if they were told to fight me. I've seen fights that left students out numbered. teachers telling you too leave and get a job. it is forgotten that its an adult titled school. Feeling as if the female teachers are too difficult to deal with. teachers mocking students other than being supportive teachers to students seeking a professionals thats mature and trained to handle students of all ages looking for the moment the can graduate and feeling the prepared to either continue learning or go on a job search. I expected friendly, and welcoming employees. I have mixed reviews. I like the real world treatment .In the work place you cant expect everyone to be polite. A few lessons were learned at D.A. Dorsey. I didnt find anywhere else. I improved with suprisingly proper math teacher. A subject i struggled with and was told improved at D.A. Dorsey. The website they have explains so much about the school which is helpful. THis school is the only school you can disagree with you class schedule choices and they allow you to make a change. I finally was able to sign up for S.A.T and A.C.T test that was a reminder for me that college was a choice if i had better grades. Sometimes i had to understand my weaknesses in school and strengths. You have to before you judge the teachers opinion of you as a failing or a student needing improvement in the future. i have mixed reviews. Grauation time i did not want to smile and can even find my picture. That sadden me. I know most student experience could have been better. I left satisfied i graduated. But being someone with nobody cheering for me graduation. I felt like the wrong group of people to be around. that happens to me every school i go to. it may not be your fate. just give school a try and hopefully you can find every answer to your questions you have such as i did. I just learn one thing. You can't make everyone like you. And I mean everybody. Good luck to you. Everything different for evrybody. I was lucky to find such a school that took me in. But the stress of scholl comes from everywhere. do you think any school is perfect?
