Student Population Changes

The average student population over the last 11 years is 209 where 223 students are attending the school for the academic year 2024-2025.

Total enrollment fluctuated between 2016 and 2025, with 4 year-over-year increases and 5 decreases. It peaked at 307 students in 2016 and was lowest at 170 in 2020. Overall, enrollment dropped from 307 to 223 students, a net loss of 84 (27.4%).

Enrollment by Race/Ethnicity Changes

The percentage of white students is 12.11% and the percentage of black students is 14.35% at CET-San Diego. 27.80% of enrolled students is Asian. Hispanic students comprise 43.95% of the student body.

Over the past 10 years, the racial composition has shifted. The percentage of white students decreased from 16.61% to 12.11%. Asian enrollment grew from 2.61% to 27.80%. Black student enrollment decreased from 18.24% to 14.35%. Hispanic student representation contracted from 58.63% to 43.95%.

The overall racial diversity, measured by the Census Bureau Diversity Index, is 0.6942 which indicates that moderately diverse. This increased from 0.5945 a decade ago, suggesting that racial diversity has improved.
