Student Population Changes
The average student population over the last 11 years is 216 where 198 students are attending the school for the academic year 2024-2025.
Total enrollment fluctuated between 2016 and 2025, with 6 year-over-year increases and 3 decreases. It peaked at 254 students in 2018 and was lowest at 171 in 2024. Overall, enrollment dropped from 231 to 198 students, a net loss of 33 (14.3%).

Enrollment by Race/Ethnicity Changes
The percentage of white students is 54.55%. The percentage was 62.34% 10 years ago and Aveda Institute-Chapel Hill still has a high percentage of white students. 2.02% of enrolled students is Asian and 23.74% is black students. Hispanic students comprise 5.56% of the student body.
