Campus Safety and Security Matters at Oklahoma Colleges

For the calendar year 2023, a total of 2,034 incidents related to campus safety and securty occured at Oklahoma colleges. It includes criminal offenses, arrests, diciplinary actions, VAWA (Violence Against Women Act), and hate crimes.

By subject, there were 443 criminal offenses, 231 arrests, 1,202 disciplinary actions, 157 VAWA, and 1 hate crimes at Oklahoma colleges.

When limited to on-campus, there were 1,781 incidents reported. By incident type, 351 criminal offenses, 127 arrests, 1,164 disciplinary actions, 138 VAWA, and 1 hate crimes. In adddition, there were 14 fires reporeted at Oklahoma colleges.
