Admission Statistics

For the academic year 2019-20, the acceptance rate is 66.71% and the yield is 18.52%. 1,597 men and 1,948 women applied to Sewanee and 1,043 men and 1,322 women students were accepted. Among them, 211 men and 227 women were enrolled in the school (Fall 2019). SAT and ACT Score Distribution

For the academic year 2019-2020, 176 students (40% of enrolled) have submitted their SAT scores and 268 students (61%) have submitted their ACT scores for seeking degrees. For score submitters, SAT 75th percentile score of Evidence-Based Reading/Writing is 680 and the 25th percentile is 580. The SAT Math score is 660 (75th) and 570 (25th). The submitted ACT composite score is 30 (75th percentile) and 25 (25th percentile).
