For the academic year 2022-23, URI's acceptance rate is 76.39% and the yield (also known as enrollment rate) is 17.57%. 9,571 men and 15,909 women applied to URI and 6,975 men and 12,490 women students were accepted.

In 2023, 987 students (29% of enrolled) have submitted their SAT scores and 74 students (2%) have submitted their ACT scores for seeking degrees at URI.
