For the academic year 2019-20, the acceptance rate is 74.77% and the yield is 18.99%. 8,802 men and 13,311 women applied to URI and 6,331 men and 10,203 women students were accepted. SAT and ACT Score Distribution

For the academic year 2019-2020, 2,921 students (94% of enrolled) have submitted their SAT scores and 418 students (13%) have submitted their ACT scores for seeking degrees. For score submitters, SAT 75th percentile score of Evidence-Based Reading/Writing is 620 and the 25th percentile is 530. The SAT Math score is 620 (75th) and 520 (25th). The submitted ACT composite score is 28 (75th percentile) and 23 (25th percentile).
