For the academic year 2019-20, the acceptance rate is 72.81% and the yield is 22.78%. 5,560 men and 2,641 women applied to NJIT and 4,018 men and 1,953 women students were accepted. SAT and ACT Score Distribution

For the academic year 2019-2020, 1,215 students (89% of enrolled) have submitted their SAT scores and 237 students (17%) have submitted their ACT scores for seeking degrees. For score submitters, SAT 75th percentile score of Evidence-Based Reading/Writing is 670 and the 25th percentile is 580. The SAT Math score is 720 (75th) and 610 (25th). The submitted ACT composite score is 31 (75th percentile) and 24 (25th percentile).
