The criminal and safety related action rate per 1,000 students is 21.26. When limited to on-campus, the rate per 1,000 students is 18.99. The criminal offenses rate per 1,000 students is 1.25 at ISU.

By violation type, 284 arrests, 38 criminal offenses, and 252 disciplinary actions are reported. In addition, 70 VAWA (Violence Against Women Act) and 2 hate crimes are reported at ISU.
