The average acceptance rate of the 11 public Florida colleges that have competitive admission is 47.38% for the academic year 2024-2025. Compared to last year, the acceptance rate is lower by 2.91%. The acceptance rate at 4 public Florida colleges increased and the rate of 7 colleges decreased.

Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University has the lowest (i.e. hard to admit) acceptance rate of 20.56%. University of Florida (24.20%) and Florida State University (24.22%) are following it in the list of Tightest Florida Public Colleges to Get In.
