150 Campus Safety and Securlty Related Incidents Occured at Rhode Island College Campuses

For the calendar year 2023, a total of 2,083 incidents related to campus safety and securty occured at Rhode Island colleges. It includes criminal offenses, arrests, diciplinary actions, VAWA (Violence Against Women Act), and hate crimes.

By subject, there were 170 criminal offenses, 41 arrests, 1,799 disciplinary actions, 66 VAWA, and 7 hate crimes at Rhode Island colleges.

When limited to on-campus, there were 2,046 incidents reported. By incident type, 150 criminal offenses, 37 arrests, 1,793 disciplinary actions, 60 VAWA, and 6 hate crimes. In adddition, there were 9 fires reporeted at Rhode Island colleges.
