471 Campus Safety and Securlty Related Incidents Occured at Kentucky College Campuses

For the calendar year 2023, a total of 2,635 incidents related to campus safety and securty occured at Kentucky colleges. It includes criminal offenses, arrests, diciplinary actions, VAWA (Violence Against Women Act), and hate crimes.

By subject, there were 551 criminal offenses, 328 arrests, 1,504 disciplinary actions, 244 VAWA, and 8 hate crimes at Kentucky colleges.

When limited to on-campus, there were 2,427 incidents reported. By incident type, 471 criminal offenses, 226 arrests, 1,498 disciplinary actions, 229 VAWA, and 3 hate crimes. In adddition, there were 50 fires reporeted at Kentucky colleges.
