In New York 4-years colleges and universites, 20,943 students are 18 years old or younger(1.91%), 146,200 students are 18 or 19 years old (13.30%), 144,409 students are between 20 and 22 years old (13.14%), 98,563 students are between 22 and 24 years old (8.97%), 67,863 students are between 25 and 29 years old (6.17%), 45,254 students are between 30 and 39 years old (4.12%), 17,228 students are between 40 and 49 years old (1.57%), 8,749 students are 50 years old or older (0.80%)
