The average acceptance rate of the 25 private Virginia colleges that have competitive admission is 68.57% for the academic year 2024-2025. Compared to last year, the acceptance rate is lower by 1.97%. The acceptance rate at 10 private Virginia colleges increased and the rate of 15 colleges decreased.

Washington University of Science and Technology has the lowest (i.e. hard to admit) acceptance rate of 7.26%. Washington and Lee University (13.97%) and University of Richmond (22.20%) are following it in the list of Tightest Virginia Private Colleges to Get In.
