For academic year 2019-20, the acceptance rate is 96.28% and yield is 36.62%. 555 men and 815 women applied to Shepherd University and 536 men and 783 women students were accepted. For score submitters, SAT 75th percentile score of Evidence-Based Reading/Writing is 600 and 25th percentile is 490. The SAT Math score is 570 (75th) and 480 (25th). The submitted ACT composite score is 26 (75th percentile) and 19 (25th percentile).
