For the academic year 2019-20, the acceptance rate is 59.54% and the yield is 53.44%. 1,236 men and 279 women applied to VMI and 757 men and 145 women students were accepted. For the academic year 2019-2020, 416 students (93% of enrolled) have submitted their SAT scores and 147 students (33%) have submitted their ACT scores for seeking degrees. For score submitters, SAT 75th percentile score of Evidence-Based Reading/Writing is 640 and the 25th percentile is 550. The SAT Math score is 630 (75th) and 540 (25th). The submitted ACT composite score is 28 (75th percentile) and 21 (25th percentile).
