For the academic year 2019-20, the acceptance rate is 78.85% and the yield is 30.62%. 8,918 men and 12,846 women applied to UTK and 7,079 men and 10,081 women students were accepted. SAT and ACT Score Distribution

For the academic year 2019-2020, 1,189 students (23% of enrolled) have submitted their SAT scores and 4,605 students (88%) have submitted their ACT scores for seeking degrees. For score submitters, SAT 75th percentile score of Evidence-Based Reading/Writing is 660 and the 25th percentile is 580. The SAT Math score is 670 (75th) and 570 (25th). The submitted ACT composite score is 30 (75th percentile) and 24 (25th percentile).
