Admission Statistics

For the academic year 2019-20, the acceptance rate is 82.07% and the yield is 18.50%. 10,062 men and 14,117 women applied to Ohio University-Main Campus and 8,096 men and 11,747 women students were accepted. For the academic year 2019-2020, 816 students (22% of enrolled) have submitted their SAT scores and 3,292 students (90%) have submitted their ACT scores for seeking degrees. For score submitters, SAT 75th percentile score of Evidence-Based Reading/Writing is 640 and the 25th percentile is 530. The SAT Math score is 620 (75th) and 520 (25th). The submitted ACT composite score is 26 (75th percentile) and 21 (25th percentile).
