For the academic year 2019-20, the acceptance rate is 54.25% and the yield is 17.85%. 12,206 men and 15,353 women applied to SUNY Albany and 6,795 men and 8,156 women students were accepted. SAT and ACT Score Distribution

For the academic year 2019-2020, 2,334 students (87% of enrolled) have submitted their SAT scores and 370 students (14%) have submitted their ACT scores for seeking degrees. For score submitters, SAT 75th percentile score of Evidence-Based Reading/Writing is 620 and the 25th percentile is 550. The SAT Math score is 630 (75th) and 540 (25th). The submitted ACT composite score is 28 (75th percentile) and 22 (25th percentile).
