Admission Statistics

For academic year 2019-20, the acceptance rate is 67.80% and yield is 10.61%. 6,193 men and 5,655 women applied to NYIT and 4,169 men and 3,864 women students were accepted. Among them, 520 men and 332 women were enrolled into the school (Fall 2019). SAT and ACT Score Distribution

For academic year 2019-2020, 743 students (93% of enrolled) have submitted their SAT scores and 145 students (18%) have submitted their ACT scores for seeking degrees. For score submitters, SAT 75th percentile score of Evidence-Based Reading/Writing is 630 and 25th percentile is 530. The SAT Math score is 665 (75th) and 540 (25th). The submitted ACT composite score is 29 (75th percentile) and 22 (25th percentile).
