For the academic year 2019-20, the acceptance rate is 54.58% and the yield is 33.52%. 5,047 men and 6,856 women applied to NMSU and 2,636 men and 3,861 women students were accepted. For the academic year 2019-2020, 704 students (32% of enrolled) have submitted their SAT scores and 1,679 students (77%) have submitted their ACT scores for seeking degrees. For score submitters, SAT 75th percentile score of Evidence-Based Reading/Writing is 580 and the 25th percentile is 480. The SAT Math score is 570 (75th) and 470 (25th).
