For the academic year 2022-23, MCAD's acceptance rate is 56.89% and the yield (also known as enrollment rate) is 42.11%. 157 men and 480 women applied to MCAD and 82 men and 298 women students were accepted.

It requires to submit High School GPA, High School Record (or Transcript), Recommendations, Formal Demonstration of Competencies, English Proficiency Test, and Personal statement or essay to its applicants.
The SAT and ACT test score is not reqired, but considered in admission process at MCAD. The english proficiency test is reqired .
