For the academic year 2019-20, the acceptance rate is 61.03% and the yield is 23.54%. 5,567 men and 6,275 women applied to UMBC and 3,582 men and 3,645 women students were accepted. For the academic year 2019-2020, 1,570 students (92% of enrolled) have submitted their SAT scores and 341 students (20%) have submitted their ACT scores for seeking degrees. For score submitters, SAT 75th percentile score of Evidence-Based Reading/Writing is 670 and the 25th percentile is 590. The SAT Math score is 690 (75th) and 590 (25th). The submitted ACT composite score is 29 (75th percentile) and 24 (25th percentile).
