For the academic year 2019-20, the acceptance rate is 57.51% and the yield is 37.60%. 7,190 men and 11,302 women applied to FIU and 4,246 men and 6,388 women students were accepted. SAT and ACT Score Distribution

For the academic year 2019-2020, 3,687 students (92% of enrolled) have submitted their SAT scores and 311 students (8%) have submitted their ACT scores for seeking degrees. For score submitters, SAT 75th percentile score of Evidence-Based Reading/Writing is 650 and the 25th percentile is 570. The SAT Math score is 630 (75th) and 540 (25th). The submitted ACT composite score is 28 (75th percentile) and 23 (25th percentile).
