Applying to Air Force

For the academic year 2022-23, Air Force's acceptance rate is 16.23% and the yield (also known as enrollment rate) is 77.88%. 5,912 men and 2,441 women applied to Air Force and 963 men and 393 women students were accepted.

In 2023, 540 students (51% of enrolled) have submitted their SAT scores and 344 students (33%) have submitted their ACT scores for seeking degrees at Air Force.

The median SAT score is 1,395 with 685 SAT EBRW and 710 SAT Math median scores. The 75^th percentile SAT score of EBRW (Evidence-Based Reading / Writing) is 730 and the 25^th percentile is 650. The SAT Math 75^th percentile score is 750 and 25^th percentile is 660 .

The median ACT composite score is 31 with 75^th percentile score of 33 and 25^th percentile score of 28 at Air Force. The median ACT math score is 29 and the ACT English score is 31.

The SAT and ACT scores at United States Air Force Academy are competitive and high compared to similar colleges (SAT: 1,084, ACT: 22 - public baccalaureate college - diverse fields).

It requires to submit High School GPA, High School Rank, High School Record (or Transcript), Recommendations, SAT / ACT, Work experience, and Personal statement or essay to its applicants.

The SAT and ACT test score is reqired to be considered in admission process at Air Force. The english proficiency test is not considered.
