In District of Columbia colleges and universites, 1,943 students are 18 years old or younger(2.95%), 12,119 students are 18 or 19 years old (18.38%), 13,895 students are between 20 and 22 years old (21.07%), 12,544 students are between 22 and 24 years old (19.02%), and 12,171 students are between 25 and 29 years old (18.46%).
