For the calendar year 2023, a total of 939 incidents related to campus safety and securty occured at South Dakota colleges. It includes criminal offenses, arrests, diciplinary actions, VAWA (Violence Against Women Act), and hate crimes.

By subject, there were 67 criminal offenses, 331 arrests, 504 disciplinary actions, 34 VAWA, and 3 hate crimes at South Dakota colleges.
