52.65% of Applicants Accepted to Georgia Colleges in 2022-2023 Admission

The 2023 average acceptance rate of Georgia colleges is 52.65% and the admission yield is 32.42%. A total of 336,626 applicants have applied to Georgiacolleges (four-years) and 177,221 have accepted to admit into one or more schools. Finally, 57,456 students out of the accepted students have enrolled into one of the accepted colleges.

For Georgia college admission, the total number of applicants increased by 16,095 (5.02%) compared to last year, from 320,531 applicants. The number of students enrolled in first year decreased by 2,714, which is less than -4.51% last year.

Georgia colleges' acceptance rate decreased by 5.39% compared to last year, which means harder to get into Georgia colleges. The yield increased by 0.07%.

Among Georgia colleges, Emory University has the lowest acceptance rate of 11.35% with 3,767 accepted students out of 33,179 applicants. Georgia Institute of Technology-Main Campus has the most number of applicants of 50,610 and Kennesaw State University has the most number of first-year enrolled students of 7,024.
